Barnsford Hurricanes afc was established in 2005, ex Parkway and Waypark Sports players Craig Jeffery & Lee Bailey came up with the idea of setting up the new team where a group of frends could come and play football. Barnsford Hurricanes play there home games at fairview playing fields in Rayleigh, And we play in division 4 of the southend brough combination league, The 09/10 season saw barnsford hurricanes win division 4 and gain promotion to division 3 . The name Barnsford Hurricanes was chosen by a vote from the players
BARNSFORD :- Jack Skulley from australian soap neighbours went to england to play football for a pro team called Barnsford.
HURRICANES :- The Hurricanes was a kids cartoon shown on british tv in the late 80's early 90's
